"You're never too busy to make art."

That's the motto I'm trying to live by. Art keeps me motivated, focused, and vibrant. Without art, the world is boring and static.

My name is Elizabeth M. Via. When I was growing up, I used to draw on everything and I never saw items as just the objects we call them; instead, I saw light, color, shape, form...all of the Elements and Principles of Design. In high school, I attended the Center for the Arts at Henrico High School in Henrico County, VA and went on to major in Art Education at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA. I love to create art, from sketching and drawing to painting and sculpting. I also dabble in photography a bit too, using only my iPhone or SONY Cybershot digital camera.

While I received formal art training in both high school and college, I don't use any fancy or expensive tools, I just create art with what I find around me. My goal is make at least one piece of art each day to practice, grow, and share my portfolio. Thanks for taking the time to let me share my talent with you!
